For CD Projekt Red fans, E3 2018 should have been a slam dunk. After three long years of waiting and wondering, gamers finally got a look at the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Initially, it was exciting. As interviews were conducted and more gameplay details were revealed, many fans excitement quickly transformed into anger. Cyberpunk 2077, as it turned out, was not going to be the game they were expecting.
Exophase: "One of the staples of Lovecraftian horror is the deliberate pace in which a story is told. People sometimes forget that, much like Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft took his time when developing a narrative. In keeping with the style of Lovecraft, developer Cyanide is currently working on the deliberately paced, narrative-driven Call of Cthulhu. Based on a recent behind-closed-doors look at the game at this years E3, its hard to tell whether that slower pace will help or hinder the game for anyone outside its specific niche."

While multiple major titles were unearthed prematurely by the retailer, some notable inclusions in the leak remained unseen at the conference. Now, Amazon Italy is asking for pre-orders for some unannounced games that includes Bloodborne 2, Sunset Overdrive 2 and even a brand new Splinter Cell.
Sea of Thieves is preparing to brace itself for some stormy new content. Revealed at E3 2018, some of that content isn’t exactly far off now that the Hungering Deep has gone live: September to be exact, when Cursed Sails arrives in September and is then followed by Forsaken Shores. For this year's E3, Ubisoft Montpellier packed a proper gameplay demo in its suitcase, one which showed off co-op play and some early combat and exploration systems - but it was another glimpse which left everyone with probably more questions than answers.

E3 2018 is the place where games are revealed in quick and non-gameplay trailers during public press conferences and then are showcased in full gameplay demos behind closed doors, hyping fans (or disappointing them, depending on the cases) anyway. Whether we like it or not, this is exactly what happened with CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077.
