There is going to be an annoucement today and a crowdfunding campaign on fig. Looks like one of press sites broke the news a little early.
You play as the same character and there will be save imports. Looks like Eothas is back and pissed. Plot sounds a lot like Mask of the Betrayer.
Edit: Fig...
Whenever I connect via steam link to PC, it brings up the Big Picture mode and then hangs and finally disconnects. On the host PC where the games are running the Big Picture mode is stuck and if I click on the screen Windows pops up a dialog box saying 'Steam Client Bootstrapper is not responding'. I have to kill the program and steam restarts. However, I can't play games on steam link anymore. I have tried several things... updating to Beta, downgrading from Beta, steam link factory reset,...
EDIT: Thread title
I realize that there is already one Star Citizen thread. When discussing the development team's progress it seemed things got heated pretty quickly, almost like a political debate. It detracted from actually discussing the game itself.
Maybe we can discuss the development aspects of CIG here? A thread like this was suggested before, but I have not been able to find anything similar through searches. I'm hoping this wont end up getting closed.
For what it's worth, I am a...
It's been 15 long years since Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, and we finally have a true sequel to the dino park sim coming out this summer. From Frontier, devs behind Elite Dangerous and Planet Coaster.
I am super excited for this game! I love all things Jurassic Park and Frontier seemed to do a good job with Planet Coaster. We should be getting fo very soon, rumored release date is June to coincide with...
I want to buy this game, but i do not want to fall in the typical keybinding issues trap.
I am lefthanded and i use inverted Y look.
I use the arrow keys for movement and use the insert, home, page up, page down end and delete for keybindings as use and weapon selection.
Right CTRL for Jump and numpad 0 for crouching. numpad 1 for reload.
I exchanged the mouse buttons in hardware, the pc reads is a right handed mouse while in practice the LMB and RMB are exchanged, so that is not be an issue....
I remember reading that Blizzard has hired psychologist in the past to help work on World of Warcraft. Their goal was to make their game (WoW) even more addictive. Now, if this is the case when does it become unethical?
I want to buy the game but the demo has issues with retaining settings between program launches.
If anyone has the full version, can you please set mouse sensitivity to 4 and disable mouse acceleration and auto-aim. Then re-launch the game. Do the settings stick?
The voices sound awful, but otherwise the game seems fine.
Square also has their own download service, so if you dont like Steam you have other options.
Ok I am on the fence about this one. I did preorder it though so I will have access tomorrow.
I really thought the first game was quite neat but graphics sucked, and the game felt like it was missing so much. This next iteration should solve these issues and it does look like the visuals have been greatly improved but I have read that it's quite buggy.Oh and it is co-op which is awesome. Now I just need to talk a friend into buying it.
I like that by buying the game I get it for PC and...
I'm only in my 30s, but I'm starting to lose interest in gaming.
I know having a newborn completely changed my life, and I'd rather sleep or just do nothing. But I think it's more than that. I think I became too anal for gaming.
Younger me: Oh my god, so many skills & different ways to play the game!
Today me: Ugh, what a chore.. which are useless & out of meta? Which are OP?
Younger me: What an amazing lore they have! Can't wait to figure everything out!
Today me: I feel burdened...
I'm really enjoying these games that are dialogue-oriented and usually give you choices to choose from in the story. These games have no voice actors and depend on the gamer to read and interact with. Usually it has minigames and stuff. Coincidently they seem to have pixelated art styles in common, which i enjoy a lot too. What genre would you catagorize these games in?
Examples:
The Red Strings Club
VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action
Undertale
Paper Please
thanks
I just finished replaying Extraction Point and enjoyed it a lot. This is one of the last FPSes made during the golden era of PC gaming. I ran it at “only” 2560x1440 with 2xTrSS as performance isn’t as good as the base game:
i have Fios, I don’t think my IP address changed too often. Server will be for friends and I.
I understand the steam cmd stuff (I think)
I don’t completely understand the port forwarding. I’ve figured out how to forward a port in my quantum gateway but do I need to direct that to the server PC?
Anyone have a good overview of what needs to be done. Google searches never have complete results.
Thank you
Flightsimlabs founder has admitted that their game has a Chrome password dump tool use to catch pirates in a thread on the official FSL forum. He says that the dump tool is extracted during installation (deleted afterwards) and only run on installations with pirate serials.
First heard about the problem in a youtube video where FSL was said to be threatening libel lawsuits on redditors who spread word...
