The Last of Us Part 2 was revealed at E3 2018 with a proper gameplay footage this time. The long anticipated game has been in pre-production phase since development on the original ended however it was initially just a small team, as revealed by The Last of Uss lead level designer, Emilia Schatz in an interview with JeuxActu.
According to Emilia Schatz, the production on The Last of Us sequel started once they were done with the work on the original game. However, Uncharted 4 was also in active development so the small team that was working on The Last of Us sequel was taken back to Uncharted 4. This repeated again with The Lost Legacy but once they were done with it, all hands were on deck for The Last of Us Part 2. Schatz joined Naughty Dog in 2010 and has worked on Uncharted 3, The Last of Us, Uncharted 4 and now The Last of Us Part 2.
Regarding Ellie as the only playable character, Schatz said that it might change in the future but they are not ready to share anything ab...

| In the grim dark of online gaming Vermintide 2 makes friends

Video games aren't that good at friends. Oh sure, they can be great for making them. Various multiplayer games have facilitated very real and valid friendships, but the games themselves scarcely contain an ounce of the same stuff in their characters. Bonds of friendship in-game are generally left to barks and grunts of command. Vermintide 2, despite taking place in the grimmest, darkest fantasy land there is, somehow manages the impossible and gives us a party of unlikely heroes whose bond feels terribly sincere. Vermintide 2 does a great job of forcing players to work together no matter which hero you choose to play as. No weapon or class reigns supreme and only a combination will see you survive the hordes of rat-men. This isn't the first co-op game to, well, encourage cooperation. What makes it special though, what makes it so memorable and pleasant on every visit is the banter between characters. In the fiction of Warhammer pretty much all these characters should be at odds with each other, forced only by circumstance to work together. The first game saw them working out the kinks in their relationship, but this sequel shows them having bonded, veterans of the perpetual apocalypse. Snarky remarks and in-jokes linger, they rib each other plenty as all good friends do. Equally though, they constantly throw compliments to each other. Hearing "Look at the elf go!" from the party's witch as you tear into a horde of baddies is the sincere encouragement that puts a little smile on your face.
| You’ll be able to earn Fallout 76’s microtransaction currency in-game

Update, July 2: Fallout 76 cosmetics can be earned in-game, as well as purchased.
We know Fallout 76 will offer microtransactions for cosmetic items, and now we know you won’t actually have to spend money if you want access to those options. Todd Howard says that whatever the form Fallout 76’s real money currency takes, you’ll be able to earn it in-game. Howard says the two main goals for the game’s microtransactions are to avoid pay-to-win mechanics and allow any such items to be earned in-game.
With, er, pioneering experience in the field going all the way back to horse armour, Bethesda’s done a fair amount both right and wrong when it comes to add-on content, and Howard says that learning has helped them balance the design of Fallout 76’s purchase options. The developers don’t want to split the playerbase by offering exclusive bits of DLC, and these cosmetic items are intended to keep additional features free while bringing in additional revenue for continued development.
We're hoping Fallout 76 ends up being one of the on PC.
This comes from a interview - translated via - in which Howard also discussed the return of radiant quests in Fallout 76.
We first heard microtransactions would "only come in the form of cosmetics" through Noclip's Danny O'Dwyer, who has had extensive access to developer Bethesda. Moreover, "any purchaseable cosmetics available will also be available to earn through gameplay." Bethesda says this will be a crucial element in supporting dedicated servers and keeping DLC free.
