E3 2018 had much of the wind taken out of it sails thanks to numerous leaks, with Walmart Canadas being the most impactful, ahead of the conference. While multiple major titles were unearthed prematurely by the retailer, some notable inclusions in the leak remained unseen at the conference. Now, Amazon Italy is asking for pre-orders for some unannounced games that includes Bloodborne 2, Sunset Overdrive 2 and even a brand new Splinter Cell.
Perhaps having taken note of every other online retailer offering big batches of discounts on PC games in waves recently, Amazon has decided to get in on the action with a couple of one-day-only sale ranges on digital PC titles from and . Over at Amazon UK's daily deals section, you'll find a range of alongside . These are all PC digital titles, most of which will redeem on Steam, though some of Rockstar's offerings are codes are for Rockstar's own Social Club. Grand Theft Auto 5 is down to one of its lowest prices ever, £13.20, while you can also find Mafia 3 for £14, Bully for £3.50, and the entire XCOM 2 collection for £40 all-in. Over on the Activision side of things, you'll be able to pick up Call of Duty WW2 for £28.99, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare for £19.49, King's Quest Complete for £15.99, and Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines for £3.49.
Among the games involved we can find a sequel to Bloodborne, which Amazon claims is apparently releasing by December 31, 2019. Same as Sunset Overdrive 2, debunked multiple times by IP owner Insomniac Games, and a new Splinter Cell iteration.
Large leaks are pretty much expected before E3, but Amazon italy might have missed that memo and chosen to drop some big names just after the conference. And it all seems a little unbelievable.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection is following in the footsteps of the previous Mega Man Legacy Collections, but is going a step further with the new X Challenge Mode.
The new mode pits X in a new armor set against bosses from the series history. Rather than being a simple boss rush, however, the X Challenge mode combines Mavericks from different games and puts them into a single room with X. The bosses are arranged by themes, like ice bosses Chill Penguin and Frost Walrus together, Spiral Pegasus and Dark Necrobat to represent light and shadow, and the genuinely upsetting combination of Vile and High Max.
X only gets to choose two weapons aside from the X Buster to bring with him to the fights, which is a lot harder than it sounds. You can check out a trailer of the X Challenge fights below.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 2 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch on July 24.
