Every week PCGamesN recount the highest performing titles on Valve’s platform, from the ten Steam top sellers to the Steam games with the most concurrent players. Why? Because knowing what games people are flocking to is useful for discovering new titles and reminding us of the ones we really ought to have tried by now.
The first portion of this weekly roundup focuses on Steam sales - that is to say the games and DLC that are selling like proverbial hot cakes. We pull these entries from the Steam store itself, under the global top sellers page. The second part of our Steam charts rundown looks at concurrent players, which gives us some insight into the most played games of the past week.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana comes to Nintendo Switch, bringing the DLC content of the PlayStation 4 version with the technical hiccups of the PC version.

Atlus just published a new trailer for Etrian Odyssey X. The video shows off the special illustrations done by guest artists which will be part of the "New Adventurer Illustration Pack" DLC, which will be included with all first-print copies of the game. Those who purchase first-print copies of Etrian Odyssey X in Japan will get a bonus DLC “New Adventurer Illustration Pack” for their characters, and Atlus shared a closer look at the bonuses with a new trailer.

The £7.49 DLC is, clearly, inspired by Fortnite's hugely-successful Battle Pass, and lets players unlock premium loot, including themed cosmetics and items. It also lets you take on exclusive challenges and gain experience points as you play.
While PUBG's Event Pass sounds like a decent addition to the game - and indeed it has freshened up the battle royale experience for many players - it has some problems, which the game's rabid fanbase has been quick to pick up on.
This has led to a raft of comments from the PUBG developer, PUBG Corp., which has clarified the Event Pass is something of an experiment, and shown to be quick to react to feedback.

Ubisoft has revealed new details for The Division 2 at its E3 press conference.
Taking the battle to Washington DC, the MMO sequel promises a story-based campaign in which the player's actions have an impact on the civilians of the city.
Once the campaign is finished, however, players will choose a new progression path by picking one of three specialisations, each of which begin with the choosing of a signature weapon. From there, things flow outwards with additional unlockable weapons and skills, with the aim of creating personal playstyles that synergise with other players.
