Monument Valley 2 proves that premium games can still be hugely successful It's hard to believe that it's been a year since snuck out on iOS. Whilst free to play mobile games have proven to be immensely profitable in the long run if they're correctly set up, premium games aren't dead yet as ustwo shows us. 
Over last night, ustwo published an article detailing how the first year of Monument Valley 2 compared to that of the game's predecessor. We knew it was coming at the time, but when MV2 dropped during Apple's WWDC 2017 keynote (against a revamped App Store) people were practically raving.

When people think of a studio like HexaDrive, they probably think of the work done for other companys games. The developer was involved in the creation of games like E.X. They may forget that these were also the people behind more unconventional mobile games, like Demons Score and King Radishs Ambition. Bethesda have revealed a new game called Elder Scrolls Blades, a mobile game set in the Elder Scrolls universe. However, Bethesda also plan to release on PC, VR, Consoles and will allow crossplay between all the versions so you can be playing on your phone at work against another player who may be at home on VR.
