Fan-favourites Hunk and Tofu are returning for the Resident Evil 2 remake

Added: 01.07.2018 18:45 | 1407 views | 0 comments

Fans of faintly absurd bonus characters can breathe a sigh of relief today; Capcom has confirmed that both Hunk and Tofu will be returning for the Resident Evil 2 remake on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
For the uninitiated, Hunk and Tofu were bonus characters present in horror classic Resident Evil 2 - appearing in their own mini-missions, and unlocked if various criteria were met. Hunk, a mysterious gas-mask-wearing Umbrella operative, featured in the 4th Survivor mini-mission, and was unlocked by completing the Leon and Claire scenarios with an A rank.
Tofu, a knife-wielding lump of coagulated soy milk, appeared in the unlockable Tofu Survivor mode - a tough reworking of Hunk's mission, accessed by completing any combination of scenarios six times with an A rank in under two and a half hours.

Monument Valley 2 proves that premium games can still be hugely successful

Monument Valley 2 proves that premium games can still be hugely successful It's hard to believe that it's been a year since snuck out on iOS. Whilst free to play mobile games have proven to be immensely profitable in the long run if they're correctly set up, premium games aren't dead yet as ustwo shows us.
Over last night, ustwo published an article detailing how the first year of Monument Valley 2 compared to that of the game's predecessor. We knew it was coming at the time, but when MV2 dropped during Apple's WWDC 2017 keynote (against a revamped App Store) people were practically raving.

Well Done Death Stranding, Youve All But Killed The Interest I Once Had

Hardcore Gamer: If you came away from this latest trailer with your appetite fulfilled and your excitement evermore greater, well good for you and I sincerely, genuinely, hope that the final product matches (maybe even succeeds) your now-lofty expectations. For me however, I can only come away from E3 with something of a damp and rather deflated state of mind. Not just because it looks like this game is years away from releasing if the brief and monotonous offer of gameplay was any indication but because it seems like Kojima may be going the way of a particular number of AAA developers/studios whose artistic vision and self-gratifying longing for a given message, narrative or agenda, overtakes the logical and reasonable need for unhinged substance.
