Amazon Prime Day 2018 date leaked

Cast your minds back almost a year ago and you might remember the mania that accompanied Amazon Prime Day, an event that was originally a one-day-only batch of discounts and special offers Amazon offered up in order to celebrate its anniversary. The event itself started back in 2015 and now, a few years later, here we are - Amazon Prime Day is an annual thing and a bit of a mini-Black Friday in terms of bargains and rushes on stock. This year's Prime Day is set to take place on 16th July, 2018. While Amazon makes a habit of keeping the exact day of the event under wraps until shortly before launching, it seems as though a stray banner has given the game away for this year's event, as that the aforementioned imagery went live sometime yesterday, proudly stating: "Starts at noon, 16 July. An epic day (and a half) of our best deals." The extra time allotted to what is still proudly called "Prime Day" is not unprecedented, as last year's Prime Day festivities took place over a 30-hour period. The extra six hours brings the total event time up to the previously mentioned "day and a half" timeframe. The 16th itself is later than Prime Day is traditionally held (usually taking place around 12th July), though with the World Cup Final taking place on 15th July, it's a safe bet Amazon has gone with a later date in order to keep the spotlight purely on Prime Day.

It is not like Koji Igarashi, made famous for heading Castlevania during its exploratory Metroid-like days, has not been hiding Bloodstained's lineage and Castlevania influence. Igarashi is going to do what he does best. That comes across in the new story trailer for the game, which pits main character Miriam against the hordes of demons of the night.
Check out the story trailer below.
Miriam is played by Erica Lindberg, who is probably best known as Futaba from Persona 5. Zangetsu, who was the main character in prequel game Curse of the Moon, is voiced by David Hayter of Solid Snake fame. Ray Chase voices Gebel, who you would probably know as Final Fantasy XV's Noctis.
In addition, the backer demo for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night released today, so if you backed at a high enough tier for that code, you can give the E3 demo a try. , but was held back due to some bug fixes.

Over the next month, you can get your hands on 21 free games, courtesy of Amazon and Twitch. To celebrate Amazon Prime Day 2018, the commercial giant is offering the games through the streaming service, and anyone who has an Amazon Prime account can benefit.
Amazon has already given plenty of games away for free through the Twitch platform, as part of a monthly giveaway. So far, Prime members have had access to games like Gone Home, Superhot, and Tales from the Borderlands. This month, however, you’ll get access to a new game every single day.
If paying nothing for games is your jam, check out our list of the best .
The highlights of that list include Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition, which is available until tomorrow. There’s also Obsidian’s maniacal Pillars-like Tyranny, which you can grab later this month. Other notable titles include Tacoma, Observer, and Battle Chef Brigade - all of those released relatively recently, and were well-received. There are also some classics in there, like Metal Slug 3, and Broken Age, offering you a good sweep of both genres and eras.
It’ll be worth checking back every day from now until July 18 to get the most out of the games on offer. To do that, you’ll need to head to Twitch, and, if you’ve got a Prime Account linked to your account, click on the crown in the top right corner to get access to your games. The offer is only available for a limited time, so make sure to keep on top of the ever-changing list of titles. For the record, you can check out that list below:
