Fallout 76 has a 'wanted' system to make you gang up on griefers

If you're killed by another player in Fallout 76, your murderer will get "a status as being wanted", according to Bethesda director Todd Howard. There will be a bounty for anyone who kills them in turn, and to facilitate this, they will be marked visible to all other players.
Howard says he doesn't want to force people into particular playstyles, but that he does "want systems that reward certain behaviour [...] If you stop playing the game because of another player acting like an asshole, we have encouraged the wrong things."

Thus, rather than bluntly punish players for griefing you, there will be incentives against such behaviour through the wanted system.
"Let's say [a player] murders somebody who didn't want to engage in combat. That's possible at the moment, yet very, very hard to do - maybe that will change. He gets a status as being 'wanted', and can't do a lot of the things other players can do. All the other players can now see him and he gets a big bounty on his head. He becomes some sort of epic enemy, that every other player can go after."
Howard was speaking to German site  (here's an English translation on ).
