Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy gives three classic games a fresh coat of paint, but there's no mistaking that they're old at heart.

Wot I Think: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - RPS

Added: 04.07.2018 3:38 | 1429 views | 0 comments

From RPS: "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a rose-tinted window into the late 90s. Barrelling through jungles and smashing crates thats all we did back then. It was an epidemic, like planking and dabbing and whatever people are into now. What care-free days they were. Is it possible to go back? Almost! This trio of remasters preserves the adventures of the jean-wearing marsupial, or at least an idealised version, dragged into 2018 and lavished with fancy lighting and new textures."

Compared to other 2D and 3D platformers from the era the first Crash is mostly boring, simple, and worst of all clunky. But thanks to the N. Sane Trilogy, it's never looked better.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy has some seriously impressive Switch statistics

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy has some seriously impressive Switch statistics I don't know why I'm genuinely surprised by this news, but not only had Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy shot back to number one in the UK charts, it's the fastest selling Switch game so far in 2018.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a remastering of the original three PlayStation titles from the 90s. Any 90s kids out there will know the kind of nostalgia these things bring back and, ho' boy, there's a lot. I mean, it doesn't include the Spyro demo in the menu, but we can just check out the Spyro Reignited trailer again.
As reported by yesterday, the game pulled in some remarkable figures. While it's the game's eighth time in the UK's No. 1 spot, both the Xbox and Switch versions did extremely well. Xbox One only edged out the Switch edition by about 250 copies, but it's no surprise that players are buying. At a highly reasonable £30, it's an excellent deal.

Crash Bandicoot remake overtakes The Crew 2 to score eighth UK No.1

Last summer's smash success story is back as Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy returns to No.1 in the UK charts for an eighth time. The Switch version of Crash is actually the fastest selling Switch game released this year. Although that's perhaps not too surprising considering its lower-than-usual RRP of £30.
